Our customers love to add toppings to fried rice, without any need to chop veggies or make separate protein.
The Recipe
Here's a simple recipe to get you started, but feel free to experiment!
Yields: 4 servings
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
Ramen Bae Kimchi Mix
Ramen Bae Fried Shallot Beef Mix
2 cups white rice, washed
Water
1 Tbs minced garlic, or to taste
1 Tbs minced ginger, or to taste
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 Tbs sesame Oil
2 Tbs soy Sauce
½ cup chopped scallions (optional garnish)
1-2 tsp Sesame sides (optional garnish)
Instructions
1. Add rice, Kimchi Mix, Fried Shallot Beef Mix, and water to rice cooker and follow typical instructions*
2. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, and then add garlic and ginger until fragrant
3. Add in rice mixed with toppings to the skillet
4. Add eggs and mix until eggs are cooked
5. Drizzle over oil and soy sauce and do a final mix
6. Serve in bowls, and top with optional scallions and sesame seeds
(*) If you don’t have a rice cooker, the ramen toppings can be rehydrated separately by boiling water and soaking the toppings for 4-5 minutes. After rehydrating, add to the pan along with the rice (Step 3).
